After fans online claimed that someone had crapped on the floor during Noah Kahan's June 26 show at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, he responded on social media: "If you have to poop at a show please dear god just go to the bathroom lmao." He also joked, "I've pooped my pants as much as the next 29-year-old," but added that fans needed to think of the poor venue worker who had to deal with it. Two days later, at his Toronto show, Kahan even reportedly had the crowd repeat a pledge: "I will not shit my pants," and, if they did, they would not take it out and "put it on the floor." Ugh.2. Next, I'm going to tell you about a celeb from the 1920s — and you should know that if I'm telling you about a celeb from that far back in the second beat of a post, it's because the story is tea. (Sorry, I'm a 50-year-old man and shouldn't be saying "tea." Let's just move on, shall we?) Anyway, Tallulah Bankhead — a stage and screen star famous for her performance in Alfred Hitchcock’s Lifeboat — was, uh, infamously very sexually adventurous. She even described herself as being “as pure as the driven slush.” But while performing on London’s West End in 1928, she became the center of rumors that were shocking even for her: that the 26-year-old Bankhead was meeting Eton schoolboys at a nearby hotel for clandestine sexual encounters. She was even said to have sneaked one boy out of the school in her car, hidden under a rug. Supposedly, when the headmaster got wind of it, he expelled six boys — including the son of a lord.

Bettmann / Bettmann ArchiveLuckily for Bankhead, this scandal in the making never rose beyond the whisper stage, but in 2000, the UK's public record office released confidential files that confirmed it actually happened. According to the MI5, the UK's domestic intelligence agency, Bankhead was "an extremely immoral woman" and had "indecent and unnatural practices" with the Eton schoolboys. Yikes.

Sorry, but if I have to know this one, so do you: Singer, rapper, actor, and Brandy’s brother Ray Jclaimed on Cam Newton’s Funky Friday podcast that he'd slept with about 12,500 women. Ray J was already notorious for his bedroom exploits — he was, after all, the guy in the sex tape that made Kim Kardashian super famous — but even for him, 12,500 partners sounded pretty outlandish.

Newton, to his credit, was immediately skeptical and tried to make the math work, pointing out that Ray J is 45 and that 12,500 partners would mean more than one new partner a day for decades. Ray J’s explanation was that tour life changed the numbers: “When we’re on tour, we’re thinking five to 10 a day.” When Newton clarified, “A day?!” Ray J did not seem especially rattled. He also said he’d thrown a “booby trap” party after passing 10,000 partners, attended by 400-500 former sexual partners. Hmm. Okay.

And they're, uh, something else. In it, after smoking cigarettes at school and visiting the crypt of Marilyn Monroe (among other wild things), Demi finished off her night by dancing at a nightclub with friends! (Did 15-year-olds in the '70s really go to nightclubs? Who knows. I'm just going to assume they did.)

All-Star Weekend, about two friends who win tickets to the NBA All-Star Game, was reportedly finished in 2016 and had a star-studded cast: Foxx, Jeremy Piven, Eva Longoria, Benicio del Toro, Gerard Butler, Ken Jeong, and Robert Downey Jr. So why did it never come out? Well, one obvious issue is that the movie features actors playing characters of different races and ethnicities, most notably Foxx as a racist white cop and Robert Downey Jr. as a Mexican man. (Major yikes.) Foxx himself talked about this years ago, saying he asked Downey to play the role and that Downey later texted him, “I’m nervous to play the Mexican.” Which, yeah, Robert, you should've been. (I'm honestly shocked he'd try this after he survived Tropic Thunder unscathed.)

Lester Cohen / WireImage6. This one is pretty much totally forgotten to history, but Mötley Crüe lead singer Vince Neil was responsible for the death of another rock star in December 1984. Here's the story: Finnish rock band Hanoi Rocks were on their first American tour — and sold out their LA shows in just 20 minutes — but then frontman Michael Monroe fractured his ankle and the band had some unscheduled downtime. They ended up partying at the home of Mötley Crüe lead singer Vince Neil in Redondo Beach on December 8, and when they ran out of beer, Neil and Hanoi Rocks' Nicholas "Razzle" Dingley — both drunk — went on a beer run in Neil's De Tomaso Pantera with Neil driving. On the way back, Neil swerved around a parked fire truck, lost control, and smashed into a white Volkswagen. Razzle was killed instantly. Two passengers in the other car were seriously injured and suffered brain damage. Neil's blood alcohol was .17 — well above the legal limit.

He served less than three weeks due to good behavior. Hanoi Rocks never recovered and broke up the following year. Mötley Crüe dedicated their next album, Theatre of Pain, to Razzle.

7. Hey, let's lighten things up with another story of someone pooping themselves! This time, the pooper is famous — Friday Night Lights star Taylor Kitsch. During an August 2025 appearance on Today With Jenna & Friends, Kitsch revealed that in his early L.A. days, he was living out of his car, hustling between auditions, and relying heavily on caffeine. One morning, he grabbed an extra-strong coffee from a food truck on the way to an audition. Shortly thereafter, sitting in the waiting room in his clean, carefully chosen audition clothes, he felt something go very, very wrong in his bowels. Before he could make it to the bathroom, he crapped his pants.

The right-hander mistakenly believed he wasn't scheduled to pitch until the next day, so he dropped acid with a friend around noon. Two hours later, he realized he was supposed to pitch THAT NIGHT.

"I started having a crazy idea in the fourth inning that Richard Nixon was the home plate umpire," he later said. "And once I thought I was pitching a baseball to Jimi Hendrix, who to me was holding a guitar and swinging it over the plate."

Adler had just told Smith he didn't consider her his girlfriend, so she went to the studio to hang with the band's other members in hopes of making him jealous. That's when Axl Rose approached her with his idea to record them having sex for the track "Rocket Queen." Smith told VH1, "Axl said, 'Adriana, I want to talk to you about something that’s very serious and very special and important to me, and nobody else will do this.'" Smith said she replied, "For the band, sure, no problem, for the band! And a bottle of Jack Daniels.”

10. Now this father/daughter dynamic is seriously heartbreaking. According to Tatum O'Neal, her father Ryan O'Neal was physically abusive after becoming jealous of her acting success in a role HE helped her get. Tatum was just 8 years old with no acting experience when she was cast as her dad's daughter in 1973's Paper Moon, and Ryan was already an established star. He surely saw his daughter as no threat. But then Tatum left no crumbs (as the kids say), becoming the youngest person ever to win a competitive Oscar (while her father wasn't even nominated). This, Tatum alleges in her 2003 memoir A Paper Life, threw her father into a jealous rage and he slugged her. "Things got ugly fast," she wrote.

In an especially bleak passage, she describes telling her father his drug dealer molested her. His response, according to Tatum? To claim she (a minor) led the drug dealer on, and kept the dealer on the payroll. Ryan was no fan of the book, saying, “She wrote a book—bitch! How dare she throw our laundry in the street for money!”

Rudolph — before she had a single acting credit — was hired to fill out the band's sound on tour, playing keyboards and singing backup. "It was such a fun job out of college," Maya told the New Yorker. "I got to live on the road for six months. We opened for Blur and for Alanis Morissette, and we got to spend Thanksgiving with her and play hacky sack with her band and go bowling."

After skyrocketing to fame as the 6-year-old co-star of the blockbuster E.T., Drew Barrymore was introduced to the Hollywood party scene at a shockingly young age, and she even went to Studio 54 with her mother when she was still in elementary school. As she documented in her autobiography, Little Girl Lost, she was drinking alcohol by age 9 and addicted to cocaine by 12. Her life had spiraled enough that she entered rehab at just 13.

Barrymore was just 16 when she was cast in 1992's erotic thriller Poison Ivy, where she played a teen who seduces her best friend's dad and tries to destroy his life. Barrymore said at the time that the movie transformed how the industry saw her. “[My agent] J.J. got all these calls, like, ‘We’ve got this role for Drew as a Lolita-esque nymphet.’ And people were coming up to me on the set, going, ‘How does it feel to be a sex symbol?’ I was like, ‘Me?!’” Again, she was just 16. In a sad case of history repeating itself, the entertainment industry had again thrust her into a far more adult life than she should have had.

13. Got another sports one for you because it's just THAT juicy. Fritz Peterson was an All-Star pitcher for the New York Yankees in the '70s, but the REALLY memorable part of his life happened off the field. In 1969, the Yankees swung a trade for Dodgers' pitcher Mike Kekich, and he and Peterson quickly became fast friends. Their wives, Marilyn Peterson and Susan Kekich, also became friends, and the couples (and their children) began spending a lot of time together. Eventually, things took a twist straight out of a soap opera when Mike hinted at being attracted to Marilyn. The two men began discussing their wives, and discovered they were more attracted to the other man’s wife than their own. Soon the men were jokingly floating the idea of trading wives. And when their wives didn’t seem totally opposed, the idea went from “joking” to “Could we actually do this?”

AP Photo/Marty LederhandlerFinally, in the middle of the 1972 season, the pitchers each packed a bag, left home, and moved in with the other man's wife. "It was a husband trade," Fritz later said. "Mike for me." This wasn't just another baseball trade, though. The men essentially swapped lives. Fritz, for example, not only ended up living with a new wife, but two new kids (girls this time; he and Marilyn had boys) and even a new dog. The agreement was that if any of the four became unhappy, they would all return to their original marriages. But when Mike and Marilyn's relationship flamed out, Fritz and Susan had no interest in returning to the way things were. By spring training of the following year, news of the bizarre situation broke and the pitchers held a press conference. Now clearly resentful of each other, they tried to water down the scandal by calling the situation a love story and nothing dirty. It didn't work.

Joni Mitchell is widely regarded as one of the greatest songwriters of all time — but in the mid-1970s, she created an alter ego named “Art Nouveau,” a Black male jazz persona, and posed as him on the cover of her 1977 album Don Juan’s Reckless Daughter, wearing dark makeup, a wig, and a fedora. And it didn’t stop there. Mitchell also showed up to a Halloween party at famed session bassist Leland Sklar’s house dressed as Art. In a 1988 interview with Q Magazine, she explained the inspiration: “I was walking down Hollywood Boulevard when a Black guy walked by me with a diddy-bop kind of step and said in the most wonderful way, ‘Lookin’ good, sister, lookin’ gooood.’ His spirit was infectious, and I thought, I’ll go as him.” She added that she bought the makeup, wig, and “sleazy suit,” and that “nobody knew it was me.”

She claimed the character wasn’t racist but celebratory, and framed it as artistic identification with Black culture. She told LA Weekly, “I don’t have the soul of a white woman. I write like a Black poet. I frequently write from a Black perspective.” She also pointed to her collaborations with Black musicians and relationships with Black partners...all of which make me go, "Yeah, I don't know, Joni." Many critics called it what it was — blackface. Kevin Hylton, a professor of equality and diversity at Leeds Beckett University, told the BBC the character reflected “her own privilege and limited racial politics,” and that, regardless of her intent, blackface isn’t okay — the history behind it and the harm it’s caused make that pretty clear.

Washington Wizards star Gilbert Arenas and teammate Javaris Crittenton pulled guns on each other in the locker room after a gambling dispute — and the story only gets wilder from there. First, let's cover how they ended up pointing guns at each other as teammates fled the room in the first place. A few days earlier, while on a team flight, Arenas played cards with Crittenton and beat him hand after hand. This led to Arenas talking some serious trash, including joking about burning Crittenton alive. A miffed Crittenton threatened to shoot Arenas, who, in a textbook example of poor decision-making, brought two unloaded guns to the locker room to call Crittenton's bluff and see if he'd do it. But Crittenton wasn't bluffing, and upon seeing Arenas with his unloaded guns, pulled out a LOADED gun and pointed it at Arenas. Thankfully, tempers cooled and no one got shot.

The players also pleaded guilty to gun charges (Crittenton received one year's probation; Arenas received two years probation and 30 days in a halfway house). The 22-year-old Crittenton never played in the NBA again, and later served nearly a decade in jail for shooting a woman to death. Finally, making the whole story even more ironic: the Wizards had only changed their name a few years earlier from...the Bullets.
