Andie MacDowell, 68, broke the Cannes Film Festival dress code in a sheer cutout LBD.

The actress paired her billowing dress with divisive shoes.

Her final touch was a supermodel-coded blowout.

The 79th Cannes Film Festival is enforcing it's dress code for the second year in a row, which prohibits voluminous outfits and naked or sheer dressing for "decency reasons." However, surely an exception can be made for Andie MacDowell, who walked the Karma screening red carpet looking absolutely fabulous in a sheer LBD.

The Ready or Not star took in her moment at the Palais des Festivals in a glamorous gown that featured a sleeveless design, chest cutouts with a double layer neckline, a cinching detail beneath her bust, and a billowing, see-through skirt that bared her matching black underwear. There was so much to love about this look, including MacDowell's divisive choice of footwear: black peep-toe mule heels. For a touch of bling, she added diamond statement earrings.

MacDowell's beauty look was just as stunning, as she embraced her grays with a bouncy bombshell blowout, supermodel style. Her radiant glam consisted of rosy cheeks, dark eyeliner, and a berry-tinted lip.

MacDowell has been a Cannes mainstay since her debut in 1995. This is a back-to-back appearance for the mom-of-three, who put the power in power suit last year for the Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning carpet. Then, she lit up the French city in a classic black tuxedo, composed of tailored pants, a longline blazer with satin accents, a white button-down shirt, and an oversize velvet bowtie. She added just black pointed-toe heels covered in silver glitter.

As for beauty, the longtime L’Oréal Paris ambassador styled her silky locks in a sophisticated updo with side-swept bangs. She glowed with dewy skin, glossy pink lips, and a smoky eye.
