Apple TV has finally offered fans a glimpse of Neuromancer. The adaptation debuted its first teaser during San Diego Comic-Con ahead of its 2027 premiere. The preview arrived through a surprise virtual appearance by Callum Turner, introducing audiences to the long-awaited take on William Gibson’s influential sci-fi novel and setting the stage for Apple TV’s ambitious new 10-episode series.

Apple TV used its San Diego Comic-Con panel to unveil the first teaser trailer for Neuromancer, giving attendees an early look at the series based on William Gibson’s acclaimed novel. The streaming platform also confirmed the show will premiere globally on January 22, 2027, launching with two episodes before shifting to a weekly Friday release through March 19. Turner appeared virtually during the presentation to introduce the footage.
The story centers on Case, played by Callum Turner, a gifted hacker pulled into a dangerous world of cybercrime and digital espionage. Teaming with Molly, portrayed by Briana Middleton, the pair attempt a risky operation targeting a powerful corporate dynasty hiding dangerous secrets. The cast also features Mark Strong, Joseph Lee, Peter Sarsgaard, Clémence Poésy, Max Irons, Dane DeHaan, Emma Laird, Isabella Pappas, Marc Menchaca, and André De Shields.

Behind the camera, Graham Roland and JD Dillard adapted the novel for television, with Roland serving as showrunner. Dillard directs the opening three episodes. Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content are the producers of the show. It also includes executive producers from DreamCrew Entertainment, while Gibson remains involved as an executive producer of the series adapted from his groundbreaking novel.
Turner has become a household name in Hollywood following his standout roles in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, Masters of the Air, and The Boys in the Boat. Middleton is also on the rise, earning praise for her work in Sharper and The Tender Bar as her Hollywood profile continues to grow.
