A driver had a close call after a Nor'easter storm brought down power lines in front of his car on Sunday 27 September.

The driver, Alex Ferranti, was making food deliveries in Ashland, Massachusetts when a tree fell in front of him.

Ferranti's dashcam footage shows the moment the tree hit a power line on the other side of the road, the collision creating a small explosion directly in front of the car.

Ferranti was able to break abruptly before any damage was done to himself or his car.

First responders arrived at the scene and commended Ferranti for his quick response to what could've been a fatal situation.
