- Taylor Frankie Paul's season of *The Bachelorette *was missing from ABC's schedule when the network announced its fall slate of shows on Tuesday.

- Paul and her ex Dakota Mortensen, who have both accused each other of domestic violence, are fighting in court over their young son.

- “*The Bachelorette* dynamic right now is one that we were just approaching day by day,” said Ari Goldman, ABC’s senior vice president.

*The Bachelorette** *was noticeably missing from ABC's upcoming slate of programming when the network announced its fall schedule on Tuesday.

The missing season, featuring bachelorette Taylor Frankie Paul, was canceled abruptly in March, just three days before it was scheduled to premiere, after news broke that Paul had been involved in an alleged domestic violence incident with ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen. Whether it will air remains unknown.

“*The Bachelorette* dynamic right now is one that we were just approaching day by day,” said Ari Goldman, ABC’s senior vice president, according to *Variety*.

“This is real life, and we want to make sure we don’t rush into any determination in either direction. So I have nothing to share in terms of a scheduling announcement, for anything involving *The Bachelorette*,” Goldman said.

Upcoming seasons of *The Bachelor** *and spinoff *Bachelor in Paradise*, meanwhile, will air in 2027.

"It's still day to day, so we'll see," said Rob Mills, Disney's reality TV chief, at Deadline's Reality TV Summit on May 1. Whether the footage will ever air, he noted, is "a good question." He added that, "On a personal level, we want to make sure she's okay."

At the time of the cancellation announcement, an ABC spokesperson told **, "In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of *The Bachelorette* at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family."

The video in question shows Paul kicking, punching, and hurling a chair toward Mortensen in the presence of her young daughter from a previous relationship. The two have accused one another of violence in multiple incidents.

Paul's reality show, *The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives*, which had featured both her and Mortensen, paused filming, and Paul and Mortensen have since been entangled in a legal battle.

On Thursday, Paul and Mortensen both returned to court to come to an agreement on protective orders requested against one another and visitation rights for their 2-year-old child.

At the two-hour hearing, Commissioner Russell Minas recommended protective orders of at least three years for both Paul and Mortensen, because there's been "violence both ways." If either of them violates the orders, they could face criminal charges.

Minas further instructed the exes to work toward mediation.

"You guys have to figure out a lot here," he said. "You have to figure out how to function as co-parents." He described their relationship as "very toxic."

Paul and Mortensen are scheduled to return to court June 1.
