Jennifer Aniston may be known for her iconic hair — but she is giving a word to the wise for those looking to shake up their looks.
The Morning Show star, 57, shared an Instagram post on Thursday, May 14, reflecting on some of her most popular banged looks throughout the years while giving some advice to fans who were thinking about getting a cut.
The actress kicked off her post with a photo of herself with brunette hair and bangs in the film Horrible Bosses before sharing additional photos of her throughout the 2000s and 2010s with side bangs and curtain bangs.

She also shared a photo of herself in the final season of Friends with light brown hair and side bangs with a layered cut. The final picture in the post showed an illustration of two turtles with one telling the other, “It took a hundred years, but I finally grew out my bangs.”
In the caption, Aniston reiterated her message, saying: “Think before you bang…👀.”
Several fans responded to the post, noting that the bangs looked good on the Cake actress. One person wrote, “LOVE your bangs and I want them too now.” Another person said, “No because your bangs are goals.”
“Your bangs and styles are always perfection. You look amazing in any style!,” another fan wrote.

Several of Aniston’s hairstyles — including "The Rachel" haircut, which was created by celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan — have gone on to become global phenomena.
While Aniston previously docked her famous Friends hairstyle due to its "high maintenance" upkeep, she was seen sporting a similar cut with several layers in New York City back in September 2025.
Aniston is one person who takes her hair care seriously, especially since she created and founded her own haircare line, LolaVie. The line launched in 2021 with the Glossing Detangler as its first product.

“Knowing that you can actually get to a result that you want, it just takes a little time, has been really, really wonderful and fun,” Aniston added.
