Lara Trump made headlines at the funeral of the late Senator Lindsey Graham on Tuesday, arriving at Washington National Cathedral in a striking low-cut black dress that drew significant attention.
Lara was photographed standing solemnly in the front-row pew alongside her husband, Eric Trump, dressed in a scoop-neck black gown with elbow-length sleeves, complemented by a bold cross necklace, but Melania Trump was branded a 'disgrace' for her decision.
She was seated in the same row as President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent at the service honoring the Republican South Carolina senator. Notably absent was First Lady Melania Trump, despite her husband delivering a speech at the ceremony. It comes as a raging Trump's comment to JD Vance during Lindsey Graham's funeral was exposed by a lip reader.

Trump family members, senior Washington officials, and foreign dignitaries gathered with the president to pay their respects to Graham on Tuesday. The beloved senator unexpectedly passed away on July 11 at the age of 71.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were among those expected to attend, reports the Mirror US.

Viewers watching the invitation-only service, which was live-streamed Tuesday afternoon, appeared particularly focused on Lara's wardrobe choice for the occasion.
Although her outfit adhered to the traditional black funeral dress code, numerous users on X voiced their disapproval of the dress's neckline.
One X user wrote: "Did Lara Trump know this was a funeral? Nobody wants to see her boobs. Disrespectful."

A second commenter remarked on her appearance, stating, "Could Lara Trump's cross get any bigger?"
A third critic took aim at the 43-year-old, posting, "I'm far from a prude however @LaraLeaTrump could have worn an appropriate dress then the one she chose. A time and place for everything. Her glowing white eye shadow and her attire is classless, when you are up front and center."
Eric, the 42-year-old second son of Trump, and his wife seemed to be the only presidential children in attendance at Graham's funeral. The pair wed in 2014 following a six-year courtship, and they have two children together.
This marked another occasion where Eric and Lara accompanied the president to an event in Melania's absence.
During Donald's state visit to China to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping in May 2026, his daughter-in-law and son joined him in Beijing.
Following the release of images showing Lara boarding Air Force One for the president's three-day China trip, many raised questions about her attendance, given she holds no official position within the Trump administration.
Although Lara doesn't occupy a formal government role, she remains a political personality, having previously held the position of Co-Chair of the Republican National Committee. She currently hosts My View with Lara Trump on Fox News.
It comes as Trump sparked health concerns as his 'most beautiful' aide shows him struggling to stand.
