- Sharna Burgess revealed why she ended her relationship with fellow dancer Sasha Farber via Skype.

- The former couple met while on the Burn the Floor dance tour, and their friendship turned romantic during a stop in Reno.

- Despite the relationship not working out, Burgess called Farber "such a sweet guy" and "the greatest boyfriend."

Burgess revealed why she broke up with fellow dancer Sasha Farber via Skype during the Monday episode of *The Penthouse with Peta*. Despite things not working out between them, Burgess called Farber "such a sweet guy" and "a great boyfriend."

"He was always a great guy. He came into my life at a time when I just really needed to remember how to laugh again," Burgess began. "There was so much going on in my world in my early 20s."

The dancers' friendship turned romantic when they were both on the Burn the Floor live dance tour and had a stop in Reno.

Burgess and Farber had rooms next door to one another while in Nevada and she stopped by his room one night to say hello. "We'd been flirting around it and then we got together. I think we were together for three years, five years? I don't remember. However long I was on Burn the Floor, we were together for," she continued.

At one point during the tour, they were in London when her father was suffering from kidney failure. After being on the tour for five years, Burgess went home to Australia to be with her father.

"When I was home, it was just too hard," Burgess said. "I never knew when I was gonna be back on tour again. Sash was with the tour."

"It was like, when are our wires in our lives' paths ever gonna cross again? We broke up over Skype." Burgess said the breakup was hard, but it led him to dating Emma Slater from 2018 to 2022, "which was a whole thing that they were meant to have, their journey with each other."

Burgess added, "It was tough. It really sucked, especially doing it over Skype. And then of course, six months later, we ended up being on *Dancing With the Stars* together at the same time." Farber joined *DWTS *in 2013 as a pro dancer for 11 years, while Burgess' tenure on the show lasted from 2013 to 2021.

Burgess began dating Brian Austin Green in 2020. They got engaged in 2023 and share one child together, while Burgess is stepmom to Green's four other children. Meanwhile, Farber confirmed his relationship with Janel Parrish on Instagram with a loved-up roundup of April moments.
