A live-action Clone Saga TV series is officially happening. Spider-Man fans have one big casting request for the upcoming Prime Video show, which will notably be based on the comics.

Fans are essentially asking Sony and the streaming platform not to move forward with this adaptation if Tom Holland or his rendition of Peter Parker isn’t involved.

As @HamskyHbb commented, “I would love if Tom Holland play them both,” or, as @Muadysseus emphasised, “Get Tom Holland to play them both.” Both fans referred to Ben Reilly and Kaine Parker, who are expected to be in this show.

@imhotshotpics echoed the same by writing, “Tom Holland should be in it.” However, @arachno_mania contradicted, “Tom Holland is never gonna get to do a Clone Saga adaptation in the MCU.”

What else do we know about the Spider-Man Clone Saga TV Show?

As Deadline reported, Prime Video has greenlit a new series set in Sony Pictures’ Universe of Marvel Characters based on the second Clone Saga story arc. The focus will be on two Spider-Man clones, Ben Reilly and Kaine Parker.

The reported TV show will reportedly be written by Kelvin Yu (creator of American Born Chinese). The Clone Saga arc is expected to succeed Spider-Noir, which Prime Video canceled after one season. While the comics featured Peter Parker as Spider-Noir, the TV series switched identities due to rights carve-outs.

Details of the upcoming show remain strictly under wraps. In the comics, Ben Reilly is notably an iconic combination of the first name of Peter’s uncle Ben and the maiden name of his Aunt May. While Ben develops his own superhero identity, the Scarlet Spider, Kaine Parker, is the flawed first clone.

The Spider-Man Clone Saga TV show has yet to get an official release date.
