- Tom Cruise is sharing what he and Taylor Swift talk about during Monday’s Kansas City Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos game.

- The pair of pals were spotted chatting during the game.

- They talk about football, music, and movies.

Tom Cruise and Taylor Swift are normal friends who have normal conversations.

While visiting *The Tonight Show** *on Thursday, the 64-year-old *Top Gun* star spilled the beans on what he and the “Fate of Ophelia” singer, 36, chatted about as they watched the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday.

“She was schooling me on football,” Cruise told host Jimmy Fallon. “For real! She was bringing the football.”

The Golden Globe winner also took a quick moment to praise Swift and her husband Travis Kelce.

“First of all, she’s a genius. I’ve been following her since she was a kid,” he said. “Everybody there, all their friends, they’re a beautiful couple and magical in their own right, and everybody there in that booth. I haven’t been to a football game since pre-COVID, where I was working and everything, so to get to hang out there and have that moment, it was a lot of fun.”

Tom Cruise admits that TV and streaming have some benefits

Cruise also made it very clear that Swift knows her stuff about the sport — even if that wasn’t always the case. “She knew nothing about football when she met Travis,” he teased. “It was like her [asking] like, ‘What was it like playing against your brother, like tackling each other?’”

He added that Kelce, 36, was very kind when answering Swift’s initial questions about the game. “She said, ‘He’s so patient!’” he recalled. “[I] said, ‘I’m sure he was. I think everybody would be very patient.’”

But the fast friends discussed more than just what’s unfolding on the field. “We talk about music and movies,” Cruise mused. “And she’s funny. She’s got such a great sense of humor. She is a brilliant writer also, by the way. Brilliant musician. Director, very skilled.”

Cruise’s friendship with Kelce and Swift came to light when he attended the couple’s star-studded wedding at Madison Square Garden on July 3, which was also his 64th birthday.

The *Vanilla Sky* star also mentioned Swift’s initial football confusion on Friday’s episode of Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce’s *New Heights* podcast.

“She was telling me about you all’s first date where you were talking about football,” he recalled. “But also what she said, ‘What was it like, you two, like, playing against, like hitting each other?’”

To which Kelce laughed and fired back, “Oh, that we were basically out there boxing each other on the field? Like, sweetie, what the heck?”

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end affirmed that Swift “knows everything” about the game now. “She sees the flags coming in. Like, ‘Oh, that might be a defensive hold.’ Like, ‘What’d you say, sweetie?’” he continued. “She’s like, ‘That’s encroachment.’ I’m like, ‘You know what that is?’ She’s on it now. She got fully engulfed in it.”
