Coleen and Wayne Rooney hiked up Yr Wyddfa, also known as Snowdon, after a busy week
Ex-England footballer Wayne Rooney and his wife Coleen have climbed Wales' highest mountain following a "rare free weekend".
One of Britain's most famous couples posted pictures of their walk up Yr Wyddfa, also known as Snowdon, on Instagram.
"After a busy week...what do we decide to do with our very rare free weekend... climb Snowdon," it said.
Last week, their new reality TV show, The Real Rooneys, launched on Disney+ after they invited cameras into their home to document their day-to-day lives.

Conditions looked wet and windy at the summit of Yr Wyddfa
The show follows the family, including their four sons, Kai, Klay, Cass and Kit, at their Cheshire home as Wayne steps away from football management and Coleen focuses on business ventures.
The post attracted tens of thousands of comments, with many praising the series.
Photos showed Wayne and Coleen ascending in sunny weather, although conditions looked damp and windy at the summit.
Wayne is a former England international footballer who played for Manchester United and Everton, as well as managing clubs including Derby County, while wife Coleen is a media personality.
One well-wisher quipped: "Did any hikers tut at the top of the queue?", a reference to recent frustration over long waits to reach the summit of Yr Wyddfa, while others wondered if the couple joined the queue.
